My most recent experience comes from my Business, Media and Finance A-Levels at school. Achieving an A in Finance A Level set me up to be offered a scholarship at the London Institute of Banking and Finance. However, I wanted to gain practical experience so I chose to do an apprenticeship.
My finance education has enabled me to learn more about long and short term financial planning with regards to pensions, insurance and mortgages, and taking Business A Level meant that this job role was perfectly suited to me. Media allows me to understand the importance of the social media/technology side of business and has given me a good understanding of communication, which is crucial for this type of work.
My role is to act as the first point of contact for face-to-face, telephone and email enquiries. Providing accurate administrative word processing data entry support to the principal and the paraplanner. Managing mail, assisting with financial data, maintaining internal company registers and compliance documents. As well as other duties such as marketing.
