No, we are restricted. This means we do not look at every provider in the marketplace. If a new financial product is required we use a shortlist of products researched from the market by our Compliance Network, Quilter Financial Planning. When our clients’ needs cannot be met by the Quilter Financial Planning shortlist, we go out to the wider market and research products and providers that share their information with Defaqto Engage (a research tool for Financial Advisers).

Quilter Financial Services and Quilter Mortgage Planning are regulated. Christopher Lillte & Co are registered with the FCA.

Yes, we can advise on all types of pensions including Final Salary/Defined Benefit Pensions.

No. You will work with the same financial adviser (health permitting) and build a long-lasting relationship. Trust is important and that is built over time.

We charge fixed fees based on an hourly rate. After an initial meeting we will provide you with a bespoke fixed fee quote based on your needs and the work involved.

Our initial financial planning fees are fixed. Our Ongoing Service is charged at 1% of assets under management. This can be paid via your investment/pension or directly from your bank account on a standing order.

If we recommend a protection policy (such as life insurance) we are paid a commission by the provider. For all other work we do not receive any commission and are paid by you.

No, we aim to make our fees as clear and simple as possible. There are no hidden extras or nasty surprises – who wants those!

Normally, our services are VAT exempt. However, there are occasions when VAT will be added to our fees. We always explain when VAT is liable at our initial meeting and if your fixed fee quote is likely to attract VAT.
